Hi, I'm Christian Portugal

I am an inspired, trilingual (English/Spanish/French) Creative Producer expressing through myriad media forms both professionally and personally. My intention is to communicate stories that generate a positive impact and connect people in meaningful ways. I’ve always been fascinated by art and technology--my purpose and passion combine the two, generating unique expressions that inspire and motivate both observers and consumers. I have worked in the media industry among tech giants, including Google, Meta, and Sony (building online communities with PlayStation during the PS4 era). Since 2021, I have worked with Nike’s Direct Digital Commerce team as a bilingual technical producer for its landing pages in México. During the pandemic, I specialized in digital marketing. In 2018, I transitioned into the retail industry, spearheading GTM Stores’ first marketing department, where we built a cross-channel system approach (SMS, E-mail, Push, Web, Paid social, customer loyalty plan). My education provides an academic foundation to support my creative ventures. I have a B.A. in Communication from SDSU’s College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts (which included a semester abroad in Paris, studying some of the world’s finest art). I have an A.A. degrees in Telemedia and French. When I’m not doing digital marketing or project management, I like to run in my neighborhood, practice guitar, print murals, retromod handhelds, restore cars, and play with AI.
